I have forgotten many of the funny things the kids have done, but her is one that comes to mind. We went to KID to KID the other day to look for a life Jacket for Jaden. (We sold his other one along with our boat). Lexy took her baby doll who happens to be black. We asked her, "Lexy where is your BAby?" She looked worried and ran over to the toy area to look for it, saying,"Where Black baby, where black baby?" We were embarrased and hoped no one heard her, but it was funny. She had taken off and lost its clothes so I had bought a small onsie to put on it. She really loves that doll.
Well, as you can see from the picture below we got snow. Lots of it. The kids loved it and played in it. Later in the day Craig took them out in the snow pants over to the park. He said the slide was icy and the kids just flew off of it. Lexy did not want me to take her picture. She would stand there and give me a dirty look, then turn right when I was ready to take her picture. It was very cute. You can see how many shots I tried to take below. We had our Ward Christmas party which went really well. The picture of the tree and things are done by me for the party. The kids all got to take a candy cane from the tree. Our kids had fun running around. It was great. I felt especially good because I had some good ideas and tips to make things run a little smoother. It helped to have served in these types of callings before.
Yesterday Jaden was upset that he missed church, but he had pink eye. So we had to go to urgent care and then drive around for an hour and a half looking for a place that took our insurance and was open to get the perscription filled. So he is missing school today.
I handed out Candy Canes to the kids that I cross last friday afternoon and didn't realize how many kids I actually cross. I had 36 candy canes and ran out halfway through. So I promised I would bring some today. Hopefully 6 dozen is enough.
I can't think of anything else right now. We have a fun week ahead of us.
