Well our washer started leaking last week. It makes sense, the poor thing has been through like 4 moves. So we took Craig's bonus and got us a new washer and drier set. We bought one big enough to actually put our blankets in, even our Cal. King comforter. Its great. Everything even comes out smelling clean. I took a bunch of dish towels and bathroom towels and did a sanitation cycle. It practically cooks the laundry. But no hint of funny smells. We do some much laundry too. I did 5 loads on friday , and another 4-5 yesterday. That included blankets. It feels so good not to have to take our blankets to the laundry mat. Anyway, we have been very excited.
Nothing else terribly huge going on around here. Just the typical children crying and things. Below are pictures of the kids playing outside while we waited for our Washer and Drier to be delivered.

hey! congrats on the new washer and dryer! isn't it funny when we get excited about things like that.
i just read your post about wanting to get rid of lexy's pacifier. we got rid of lucy's on her 2nd birthday (she loved her binki, unlike ammon) and it was a lot easier than i ever would have thought. we got some helium balloons and tied her last pacifier to them. i gave them to lucy and she was the one that let them go up into the sky. she watched them go and we all clapped and cheered. it was fine, there were no tears, not even at bedtime when i was really worried. and when anyone asked where her binki went she would say they went up in the sky in balloons. anyway, just an idea.
i feel your pain about kids getting into trouble though. lucy has figured out the deadbolt and i'm getting a little nervous about showering for fear they will escape the house while i'm washing my hair.
good luck!
Isn't it funny what kids say when they pray?! That's awesome! :)
