Alexis MRI

Saturday, July 5th was Lexy's MRI. She wasn't allowed to eat anything. When she got up she could have a couple of Apple Juice and then was done. So we left the house early and ran some errands. We got to the hospital and she started to get nervous. We held her down to get the IV. Her vien collapsed, so they had to do it again on the other hand. She got 2 prized before she was poked twice. She chose a stuffed Moose, and they gave her the game Candy Land. Lucky girl. Because she would calm down when they stopped touching her (unlike Jaden) we were able to use a different medicine. This only put her into a deep sleep. She didn't have any wierd side affects like being sick or overly groggy. It worked great. At the hospital we woke her up to eat and drink, then they sent me home. She slept until about 6pm. Well guess, what! A little girl who sleeps from 12pm-6pm is not going to be tired. I tried to put her down a few time during the night. But guess what else. She has learned how to get out of bed. So she would play for alittle while and then come upstairs. Or if she was really mad, she would just come straight up. Finally about 1am I turned a movie on for her and went to bed. When I got up at 4am she was asleep on the floor. So I moved her down stairs, she was upset, but stayed down there. Then I took care of Jackson until about 5:30 am.

Jackson has so much hair that he accidentally pulls it. He will start to scream and you will check on him, then realize he has a fist full of hair. Silly kid.

This Friday we are going to the Lagoon. WE are taking Jaden and Alexis, but leaving Jackson with a few different people. Hopefully it goes well.
