So last weekend Craig took the kids camping late Friday night because Jaden got Green (being really good) in class all week. So they went late Friday night down to Utah Lake. The lake was frozen and it was cold. Luckily they had a heater. On their way home on Saturday morning Craig was pushed off the road on I-15 by 2 or 3 cop cars. He said they got out of their cars with their guns drawn. They had him get out of the camper and patted him down. He had to disclose anything in the camper. Well they were going to go shooting. So....They tried to interview the kids because he was reported as kidnapping them. Lexy was crying and Jackson was doing his thing. So Jaden did pipe in and explain to the cops that this was his Dad. They had seperated them so that the kids wouldn't be scared to admit they were in trouble. After about 20mins the police got a call that this was not the people they were looking for. Apparently there was an amber alert out and someone saw Lexy and Jackson in the back window of the RV and they were not happy. So the person who saw them called it in. Once they got the confirmation that 2 kids were missing not 3, Craig was free to go. What a day.
Jackson is being evaluated on the 22nd for Autism. Watching these two girls can be a lot of work, but sometimes all the kids actually play. This morning I have Kaden, Kaeli, and Lexy standing right next to me at almost all times. It is very annoying. Right now Kaeli is police the food, as always and letting me know that Jackson has had something to eat. If there is food, or smells like food she is on the ball. Everything is her favorite, and according to her she is never feed and very hungry. Jackson has gotten another snack and we let him one because he doesn't really eat and second because we don't want to set him into an hour long fit. But the other kids we babysit don't understand, yet they always complain about Jackson when he is throwing his fits. They last a very long time.
Jackson is so cute when he is not yelling. He says all kind of things I wanted to write but can't remember now. So I will just put some old ones. He likes to say "choky muffy down" in his gruff voice. So that is how he asks for me to get down the chocolate muffins.
WE went shooting in February and it was only 20 some degrees and super windy that it was soooooo cold. We were outside for about 40 mins. We couldn't feel our hands.
