Lexy's back brace

Well, today was the big day. As you can see in the X-rays below Her back is very bad. The curve actually starts in her hips. That is way she stands funny, and has a hard time walking. We put the brace on at the office and I can see she is going to have a hard time. We will work her into it gradually. We hope to have wearing it 18 hours a day within 3 weeks. She cries and says it hurts, but they say it does not. She just has to get use to it squeezing her. She can't stand up straight with it on. She has to hold onto something and she can't walk. Her body has learned to deal with the curve that it is very uncomfortable to stand up straight. When she walks she keeps her right leg very stiff.

I will post some more photos and pictures when we get around to putting it on for a few hours tonight. She will wear a brace until she is done growing/an adult. On a different note Lexy and Jackson have decided that sleeping is not for them. The only way to get Jackson back to sleep is to feed him. Lexy keeps coming upstairs in the dark and getting into our bed. She wont sleep. This morning she was singing and dancing at 3am. I was trying to get Jackson back to sleep so it was very unhelpful. Hopefully she gets better.
