Growing up

Happy Leap Day!!!  Sierra is just as cute as ever.  She discovered the use of her hands about a week ago and has been using them like crazy.  Sooooo helpful (NOT) during bottle feeding because she is constantly grabbing at her bottle.  However she is now playing with her toys, that is very helpful.  I was able to shower the other day with her awake because the was laying under her little toy gym thing playing with toys.  Well and the other kids were not around to bug her either.  Today Jackson layed on her, sort of accident, but mostly because he was trying to get under the toy things too.  She has rolled over from Front to back a couple of times and I think she would have done back to front today, but her toy gym was in the way.  She is not sleeping through the night, but has done it a total of 3 times.  So maybe tonight we'll get lucky.  Otherwise she is usually awake at 3 am.
WE are still working on tearing down the deck and hopefully putting a slide down one side.  It is amazing how much more light, and how much bigger the yard seems to me with that deck roof half gone.
We have started  a new plan to help Jaden not get in trouble at school.  I think this teacher is just not as understanding as the teacher he has had for the last 2 years.  However, she did agree to let Jaden celebrate his birthday during the school year.  Always a huge complaint anytime someone bring in goodies for their birthdays.  So we have selected March 30th right before our spring break for me to bring cupcakes in.  I am busy reorganizing our house to try and make it less of a mess.  And anything else I may actually have time for.  Jackson is doing alright.  Lots of energy.  Has trouble recalling words for things.  Loves to be Dad's helper.  Jaden loved to be Dad's helper at 3 as well.  Yesterday he "helped" take the deck apart.  He came into me and said, "Mommy, Dad make a big mess!  He BIG trouble."  WE love the way he says things.  He is still picky about who helps him do what.
Jaden was frustrated at the crosswalk yesterday because Sierra would not sleep.  NOt sure why she wouldn't.  But he was giving her the pacifier and yelling about how she kept moving her head around and it was too hard to keep her pacifier in.  I told him he needed to be calm, and only had to keep it there if she was crying or wouldn't keep it in herself.  Craid has one more week of school.  Then 2 tests and he is done with his Bachelors!  HURRRAAAYYY!  But we can't talk about whats next until he is done.  Too stressful right now.
