Barbies and stuff

I have been wanting to do this for a long time.  But finally did it yesterday.  I sewed some clothes for Lexy's Barbies.  She was very upset and cried while I made the first outfit.  Then she realized she liked it and wanted me to make a bunch more.  So here are some of the outfits I completed.  I told her that My Mom had made some for our Babries when I was little.  Apparently she remembered me telling her that, so she told Grandma Parry.  Some maybe it will be come a family tradition.  That would be kind of fun.  When she gets older, perhaps I will have her help me a  little more than just picking out the colors.  Yesterday was pretty constructive.  So it was a good day in the end.  We also took advantage of the sales and bought a new sectional couch for downstairs and some recliners for the upstairs.  I will have to post pictures once they actually come in.  They are on back order.  Went to the RC Willey outlet store, so thanks Holly and Justin for giving us the location.  We were pretty impressed.  Amazingly the Clearance stuff was way more expensive than the sales.  Hum!  I have been offered another babysitting job, but we are wokring out details, so its not a sure thing, just thinking about it.  However it would start next week.  We'll see.
The other day Lexy was talking really deep and insisted that she was speaking a different language.  Spanish.  I tried to convince her it was a tone, and not a language she was doing.  No luck.  “See, I’m speaking Spanish.”  Jackson’s Doctor appointment went well.  His hearing is good and they do say his speech is delayed.  However they think he will catch up because he is copying what we say.  The Therapist thought he may have Aspburgers (sp) but I don’t think we will take the extra time to look into it.  If so, he is no worse than Jaden, because I swear he has it, so we’ll deal for now.

That's so cool that you made barbie clothes. I wish i knew how to sew. Good to hear that Jackson's hearing is alright. With time, I am sure he will start talking better. Troy had a couple of kids that were slow on the whole talking thing and now its hard to get them to shut up...haha!!!
