November 20th, 2008

Just another quick update. Lexy has started saying prayers. You know, one or two words of a sentence. It is very cute. I asked if she wanted to have her music turned on last night she said, "no, Pray." So we did.

We had Doctor appointment yesterday. She did really good. They took an Xray of her spine with her brace on. They say it looks much better. with the brace on she has a 12 degree curve. With it off, it was a 50 degree curve. Quite the correction. They will do another xray in 6 months. This time with her brace off for 24 hours to see if her spine can hold its own shape. You can see the picture below.
She still fights like crazy to have her brace put on. So its frustrating. However she has gotten comfortable with it and can do so many things. Like climb chairs and tables in the doctors office. She has also started sneaking into my purse. Just the other day she ate almost an entire package of gum. She got it of of my purse I guess and then hide in Grandmas room eating them. I found out when she came upstairs drooling like crazy and smelling fresh.

Jackson was up last night at 2am until 4am. He was screaming with delight and grabing my hair, clothes, really anything he could. Then he would laugh and laugh.

Jaden is still doing really good with the bathroom. He still compains of a tummy ache. I have thought of having another xray done to make sure he is getting everything out, but That just one more appointment.

Today lexy was weighe and is 35.2 lbs. and 3ft. 1 in. They say she is in the 98% but is well porportioned. Basically the same with Jackson. 19 something lbs. and 28 some odd inches.

Kids are crazy! That is so awesome that Lexy is doing better now with the brace. It's crazy to me how everybody's kids have their own issues and how everybody adjusts so well to them. It must be those prayers! Oh, and yes it is Julie my sister. She got remarried 2 years ago the 24th of this month to a youngin' from Enumclaw. It's pretty nuts!
